Correct meaning of 목말라요 (“l’m thirsty” vs. “It’s a thong”)

목말라요 in Memrise translates to “l’m thirsty” but Google Translate translates it to “It’s a thong”. Which is correct?

I’m thirsty is correct. i don’t know how on earth in could translate into ‘it’s a thong’

목 = neck, throat

말라요 = dry

So it would literally mean “I have a dry throat” = I’m thirsty NOT it’s a thong :wink:

Thanks. I reported it to Google.

I guess that’s why you shouldn’t blindly trust Google Translate. Papago gets it right though.
