I like to course. because the course is quite complete and follows the book Teach Yourself Hindi of Rupert Snell quite well. So, I want to contact the creator of this course, which is @ralphthf12, but when I try to message ralphthf12, the name doesn’t show up (I’m using the feature on this forum in the top right corner, press the profile icon, then the envelop). Does that mean that the account doesn’t exist? How do we contact this user then?
If, when you put a “@” before a username, it doesn’t turn grey (eg @John_Baite), it means that person hasn’t joined the Memrise forum (which runs independently from the Memrise learning site). So, you can’t send them a personal message via the forum.
In these circumstances, it’s necessary to tag a Memrise staffer, eg @Lien (now done), so that they can send the user an email inviting them to come to the forum. If the user doesn’t respond to the invitation, Memrise may make you a contributor to the course in question, so that you can make the necessary edits or they may decide to make them for you.
@Lien - y I was wondering if you could possibly help me with this request raised in this topic. The request is basically whether I can made contributor or can contact the course creator of each course somehow (who both don’t have an account at the community forum). Has there already been any feedback or who in Memrise should I ask this question? Thank you!
@memrisesupport - Could you possibly tell me in case I am tagging the wrong person. Thanks.
Hi @John_Baite,
I’ve emailed Ralphthf12 to invite them to this thread.
Hopefully, they can soon join our conversation.
If it stays quiet for more than a week, please remind me so we can follow up.
Best wishes,
Lien
