Clickable Link from Memrise Course to Course Discussion Forum

Hi,

Please could the Memrise developers add a box to each course main page into which course creators could add a clickable link to the corresponding Community Hub thread they’ve set up?

I’ve created several Spanish courses but now get many fewer discussion comments (perhaps one tenth) than I did with the old course forums, so I think that the quality of my courses is not currently benefiting from a lot of potential user discussion.

Adding this feature would help improve general course quality significantly, in my opinion.

Thanks, Ian ( @ian_mn )

This is also my opinion, I strongly support this proposal. :four_leaf_clover:

Pretty much every single course creator who made it to this forum in the spring and early summer, when memrise first set it up, asked for that when they told us they were going to remove the course forum. People asked for it repeatedly and vociferously. It’s probably universally desired by course creators. But Memrise completely ignored all of this, and did nothing about it. Probably because, as they told us directly in other threads, the web doesn’t matter and they won’t add any features to memrise on the web. (Nevermind that these links would also be useful for mobile users; memrise seems to think anything tainted with the web in any way, is a web feature, and must be ignored)

Thank you @cos
for your information.

what’s the reason for this behaviour? just a question of money?

@irridmemorizza, if I remember correctly, they (specifically Ben) has said that it appears that the website probably won’t be worked on in the near future, as they’re concentrating their energy on the apps. Ben has said that he hopes that one day they resume work on the website, but it’s certainly not a priority at the moment.
