After searching for a way to mass upload audio for my courses I came across this chrome extension.
I was just wondering if anyone has used it before?, does it work well?, does it work with Decks?
Or is there an alternative to this that I can use?
As I’m currently creating several sentence/vocab courses for Japanese that have 1000’s and 1000’s of entries, so I don’t want to have to get audio for each individual item otherwise that is going to take me ages.
I installed this Audio Uploader recently, and it works very well. (Using Chrome on a Windows 10 laptop.)
After installing the Chrome extension, a new button appears at the foot of every screen in edit mode and the processing starts after clicking on that button. You can actually see the sound clips being uploaded on the edit page.
Edit 26 July 2022: Currently, you can open all levels at the same time for editing, then click the button at the foot of the page to load up audio for the entire course in one go. It’s not instant, but 1000 items might take about five minutes to load up, which is pretty good I think.
I totally forgot about this app, I’ll have to try using it some time on my courses.
It took me about 30 seconds to install and start using it.
These sorts of things normally take me a lot longer to figure out.
