I can’t seem to login to the memrise app on my phone. Is this happening to anyone else? Is this because of decks?

Yes. I’m affected too. There are now three or four threads about this in the Android Bugs forum.

Me too. I cannot login through Memrise App. Have tried reinstalling and older versions from March 2019 but no success.

At the end of the thread you will see that one of the memrise team has responded about this unexpected bug and that it has been solved in the meantime.
It is a bank holiday weekend in England so lots of people have a three-day weekend, but not this particular developer, who was working on Saturday to solve this bug problem.
