Can't login to this forum via mobile browser (Chrome android) because of Memrise app

Hello!
I suppose it’s not a feature but bug.

Platform used when experiencing the issue (web, web on mobile, android app, iOS app):
Web on mobile + android app

Phone or tablet firmware/app version/device model (if on mobile):
Android 6.0.1 / Cyanogen OS 13.1.2 / Memrise 2.9_3924 / Oneplus One

Date of first occurrence:
19.04.17
Frequency of occurrence:
Every time I try to login

Description of steps you took when issue happened:
I’ve tried to login to this forum via Chrome for Android, but when I tap “Login” button in the top right corner it sends me to my Memrise app to my current language course. So it is impossible to login on android smartphone.

Yup, if I get a notification via email that there has been a comment on the forum and I try to get to it via the email, I always just land in the app and not in the forum. I just assumed that they wanted to keep app users away from the forums :slight_smile:

I have the app installed. When I get a forum notification it directs me here. Maybe it’s because when I get “you’ve learned new words” I have always used browser not app to open it from mail.

Same here, when I try to log in or click on reply the app opens. I can’t write in the forum on phone (Android as well)

You need to download Google Chrome APK in free to view like desktop on your android mobile

Hi @Jack_Wilson0d49, I’m using Google Chrome by default. What is the difference between the one you mentioned and the one from the Play Market?

Meh, I just deleted the app, logged in to the forums, then re-downloaded the app.

Can you maybe first force the full desktop mode?
