I cannot scroll down to find new courses on my smartphone (both samsung and Iphone), all I get it’s the first 7 courses, then the scroll stops. I don’t think I’m the only one because my courses had been adding one student a week and now no new entries in the last four months and it’s the same for the courses next to mines. plus I cannot refresh my courses because I won’t be able to retrieve them again. I can only use the desktop version.
hey, it is a “feature” not a bug …
(you should move it into the “app bugs” category, nobody cares for web bugs anymore )
Hi @acnalbasac
Have you tried logging in and searching on the web?
Both the category search (eg Maps) and key words (eg Volcano) work.
All courses someone has created or is supporting should appear with a creator’s ID search (eg DW7).
You can also look at any person to see what courses they have ‘created’ or are studying - useful if you see someone is doing well on a course you are studying and like
eg https://www.memrise.com/user/DW7/courses/teaching/ .
Once started the course should show on your home page (hopefully).
with the app the search is useless. I had one course that I couldn’t see on the app, but, just by chance, I swapped the two languages and, just like that, now the course has resurfaced in my list and I can actually use it on my phone. After that I uploaded one more course and it also appeared on my phone. I don’t know how it happened but I’m really glad.
unfortunately there’s no chance one can find my courses using the app.
my guess is that the system is overloaded and you had to limit the quantity of courses not to come to a standstill.
even better,
now, in the app, to implement any changes in my course, such as new audios, I just uninstall memrise and then install it back up, works perfectly.
I think you do not need to re-install the app.
Just delete the cache and data files / directories.
