Cannot learn words I added to my own course

Hello,

here’s what happens (web version):

1. I created my own course to learn Spanish and I update it regularly.
2. I finished learning the few levels I had and the course was marked as completed (313 words).
3. I added a few other levels and wanted to learn them…
4. …but I can’t! The course shows 313/313 all the time, although in the editing view I could see all the new added words correctly (the new total should be ~490). It’s just in the main screen I always see 313/313 course completed.
5. I entered the course and saw those added levels in the level view. So I clicked on one of them and started learning. I hoped to force the system to refresh. It went fine, I learnt 5 new words and… it still shows course completed, but now I have 318/313. So I still can’t automatically use those new levels/words.

And this is a problem, because on Android I have the same problem, but it doesn’t refresh at all. It’s stuck at 313/313, so I can’t even see the extra levels as I do in the web version.

I tried logging off and on on my App. It helped for a moment as the course refreshed to 0/490… I got scared but after a moment it got back to 313/313. I also tried deleting all my cache and data files for Memrise on my phone, but it didn’t help.

Hi, can you try this approach to all levels which were recently added to your course.

@Piotr_Ziolo Automatically creating levels may be the cause of this. Here’s the problem. [image] A solution is to edit each individual level. Edit the level, add or remove a word, save the level, go back into the level, This will update the number of words inside the level. If you added a word, edit the level, remove the new word then save the level. [image]

It is the same concept, the levels need to be manual refreshed/updated. I’ve already did this to one of your levels, you should notice an increase in the number of words inside your course.

Hey, thanks very much. I don’t know what you did, but it worked on ALL the levels (4 in total). I see them correctly both in the web and on Android. If you edited only one of them, then that’s strange I guess

I’ve never had this problem before and I was always adding words/levels in the same way as this time. That’s why I didn’t relate the topic you were referring to to my problem.

Anyway, thanks again. All’s fine now.
