Cancelled my membership numerous times but still says I have a payment due

So, a week ago, I decided Memrise pro wasn’t worth it, it’s a good tool, but the features given by pro don’t justify the price. I go into settings to cancel my membership. Doesn’t work.

I assume it takes time to go through the system or something, so I don’t worry about it.

Go back a couple days later, I’m still pro. Still says I have a payment due. Try to cancel again, same deal. Rinse and repeat for a couple more days.

I contact Memrise support through this forum and twitter, they say they cancelled it. Cool. I assume it’s all good

A day later, though, I go back into the settings, and, to my dismay, I still see that I have a payment due January 28th.

Idk what the problem is but I’m a broke student that doesn’t feel like paying this fee, if someone could help me out that’d be great
