Can someone from the team increase the chinese font

in this one

the creator seems to have left memrise, or s/he is also not receiving any notifications; anyhow s/he did not answer requests for months

ans also in this one, as contributors cannot do such things (I mean, the contributor @sifushano tried to increase the fonts, but in vain) http://www.memrise.com/course/726961/no-typingessential-cantonese-vocabulary-audio/

thanks, @Lien, @Joshua?

Sure, Hydroptère. The Cantonese characters should show bigger now. Have a lovely weekend, Lien

Oops, I did it quickly on my phone and hadn’t seen the second link
I have increased the font for both courses now.
Groetjes uit Berlijn!

(I could have sworn that I’d replied to this last night with a follow-up question …)

Was this something that I, as a course contributor :ghost: could have done or is it :japanese_ogre: voodoo :japanese_goblin:memrise staff magic?

I hope it’s something I can do …

So, I realize this is from a long time ago, but I thought I’d reply anyway.

@sifushano, As far as I know, course creators can change the size of the font, but contributors can’t.

I know. Lien solved that pb for me; she helped sooo many times, i should send her some flowers

Ah, I was trying to reply to sifushano, actually

Yes, Lien seems to be rather active and rather helpful

The Simplified Chinese character font need enlarged also, please. They are just teeny tiny. I think they would be good to view, if not actually attempt to remember, for the future. Thanks.

Hi @pfstevenson32. Which course is this an issue with?

Simplified Chinese #1, please. Thanks! It’s pretty small. Not a huge issue, obviously, but, as a student of Japanese also, I am already seeing characters (kanji, in Japanese) that I recognize. That’s pretty neat. Thanks, again.

Hi! do you mean the course Mandarin Chinese 1 for English speakers? (since we currently don’t have a Chinese course for Japanese users) and are you learning via android app or iOS app?
Thank you for your comment!

Yes, the Mandarin Chinese 1 Course for English Speakers. My bad for
including extraneous information. Like my mouth, it’s hard to stop the flow
of noise. lol

Thanks, again.

No worries! Could you let me know which platform you are using? (android/iOS/website) and the problem is that the Chinese characters are too small? it’d be great if you could give some screenshots of the issue. Also, you could email directly if you like. This is my email: [email protected]
Thanks for your patience

I am viewing the site through my pc. Screenshot below. Font in Simplified
Chinese 1 course is very tiny.
In my G6 phone (Android), the font is small but readable. It would be nice
for the font to be a bit bigger, but maybe that is due to me not having
great eyesight. Thanks, again for your help!!
Paul

because in that course the Chinese writing is just an attribute… it seem the course does not teach writing in hanzi in thatcourse, but the pinyin/pronunciation, that is why the characters are so small. There is a script for showing the attributes bigger (on stylish I think), but there is a upper limit for increasing the size of attributes
