Can I turn off the timer?

Hi, I am new to Memrise and would like to know if you can turn the timer off? It’s really intimidating and is making it harder for me to focus on what I am being taught instead of “pushing me to success”. Luckily for me, I already know the Korean alphabet but when I start learning words, phrases and grammar this will affect my learning quality. I heard that there is no timer for the phone version but I don’t want to get the phone version of Memrise (sorry). If turning off the timer isn’t an option yet on PC, please make it one. For the sake of our learning.

Try this:

Or this:

Be sure to install a script extension. Like Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey.

It doesn’t work well and is too complicated to set up.

With all due respect, highly I disagree. It’s just two steps:

  1. Install the extension
  2. Download the script
  3. If it’s the old version, change in the settings from http to https

Please also consider making a feature request to encourage Memrise to add this feature.

Sorry, all scripts seem to have stopped working: Tampermonkey Scripts no longer working :frowning: http://community.memrise.com/t/tampermonkey-scripts-no-longer-working/23522/

Does this script still work? When click the link it tries to open and then gives an error. maybe requires a specific web browser? I use Microsoft Edge.

I think, it always requires one or another plugin, which are browser depended. The Tampermonkey ones work on Chrome and Firefox (and perhaps IE, not sure).
