I think there’e an error in one of the meanings.
affable means friendly and pleasant, but in the course another synonym was provided for affable; courteous, which means polite and showing respect.
I’d like to know your views, and if I’m right I think it should be corrected.

“courteous” seems like a kind of strange definition to me, too, but the Wiktionary entry also lists it as a definition.
