Thanks for that! Good to know.
I always had attributes before, without selecting anything, immediately after creating levels⌠and no, none of my courses are created via bulk upload (except one with a canadian database created by someone else) ⌠look at the second screenshoot, that italian german, no attributed came even after adding the first levelâŚ
@rodzi thanks, but i do know thatâŚ
Well, then after creating a course with the same combination Italian for German speakers I donât get attributes etc either. (I get them for Korean-English)
I have also noticed that there is no wiki for that combination.
Maybe some combinations of categories donât have wikis so additional columns are not added automatically.
As for me having only 2 columns when creating a new course is convenient because the first thing I do after creating a new course is deleting the additional columns and addying my own if I need them.
I always have to add all attribute columns. If Iâm creating any course I only have 2 columns. All others I have to add by myself. I even didnât know thereâs another way
I have played around with this some more, trying various combinations of languages in the course creation settings. Whether or not the attributes columns show immediately varies depending on the language settings selected, but I canât see any obvious pattern:
many thanks everybody
i wonder why the bug is completely ignored by the team⌠if it is not English, it does not matter?
Hi @Hydroptere,
Apologies for the confusing, the reason why the attributes are not created automatically is due to the course being created for German speakers.
We donât have a wiki for German speakers and we have no plans on making one. Attributes are inherited by wikis, when a language does not have a wiki then the attribute columns will not be created automatically.
The wiki has numerous amount of bugs, there is no simple fix for it and we donât manage them.
Can you please follow Lien suggestion and create the attribute column yourself.
Thank you.
On all of the courses Iâve ever created, I had to add my own attribute columns, I believe.
I didnât realize that if you create a new course that uses a wiki, it autocreates those columns for you.
