Hello, the english sentence “it’s a storm in a teacup” is translated to the phrase “aus einer Fliege einen Elefanten machen”. Perhaps there is no other translation for this german phrase. But the closer translation to german is “Das ist ein Sturm im Wasserglas”.
There are many English courses. In which course and creator is this? A link helps.
Perhaps there is a course forum (might use search to find it) which the creator/contributor monitors for questions and suggestions. Then you have more chance of a good response.
It is in the course of “Englisch (UK) 6” unit “28 Wendungen: weise klingen”. And where can i find the creator?
On the main page of the course, more or less top right the creator is mentioned.
thanks john, i didn’t understand this note, because the creator is memrise itself
I concretised the title of my post. Is it correct now, or what can I do? And do I reach the creator “memrise” on this way?
thanks and best regards
Here is the course thread: [Course Forum] Englisch 1 - 7 by Memrise (English for German speakers).
