Best streak no longer shown - another lost feature?

Following the recent front-end changes to the website and the introduction of ziggy, a person’s best learning streak is no longer shown. It has been dropped from the profile and also from the hover pop-up that would appear if the cursor was placed over a person’s icon.
I found learning streaks to be very motivating, and whilst each individual course still shows the learning streak the ‘best ever’ streak has disappeared.
Is this something that will reappear or is it just another lost feature ?
I assume the info is still held in Memrise somewhere - can some clever scripter still access this info and display it ?

The global streak badget is not only not shown in your own user profile…

…but also NOT shown anymore for other Memrise user profiles in the course dashboad popup window (right side panel of a course), if you hover over a user in the weekly/monthly top 10++ list :frowning:

Instead of the Ziggy icon is now everywhere.

I learned 300 days long so I could see my badge go up and up and up, This helped me very much with learning for school, but now I can’t see my badge anymore, this is pretty demotivating for me :frowning_face:.I hope this feature will come back.

I can only echo this. Seeing this icon and comparing with other learners’ icon is/was extremely motivating. It’d be a real shame to lose that feature.

It would have been simple to add a preference to show or hide it per person, as an opt-in or opt-out, rather than just removing this feature…

Here are some great “news”:

The (old) Android app v3.39.2-439 still shows the (old) global max streak badget (e.g 95 days), which the website does not show anymore on the left panel below “words learned” and “points”.

This is the pre-ziggy draft version, where the Ziggy is still an egg (already displaying new level system). As I upgraded to level 15 Ziggy is also showing developed in some pages.

I have not tested any recent Android app updates.

So the badget backend data is just hidden from the homepage…and probably (hopefully) could be re-displayed with some HTML / userscript tweaks.
