Being asked for feedback every day

I am doing a couple of course on iOS and recently the app has started asking me for feedback about the app during each course, every single day.

The first question is a general “are you doing the app” question. I select “No” because I’m so fed up of these questions. I then take up the offer of giving feedback… and then get a blank page with a header at the top saying “Help”. Not very, er helpful.

How many times are you going to ask me these questions?

PS, it’d be really useful if your app release notes actually indicated which bugs have been fixed, rather than just recount “amusing” stories.

I get this all the time and I do want to give feedback! There’s so much differences between Android and iOS versions.

@philgyford: I suppose that you updated to the latest available Memrise APP for iOS ?
It might help BeaTrisy asses this if you could confirm this and tell what your iPhone/iOS version is. They also love screenshots when available.

@BeaTrisy: there is a feedback function in the iOS app, that somehow keeps coming up, and is also giving a blank page. Has this already been fixed by any chance? Thank you!

@Baite Yes I always upgrade to the latest version. It is currently v2.3.30.6943.

I’ll try and remember to screenshot next time I use it. But it’s a purple panel at the top of the screen asking me what I think of the app. I got it three times yesterday…

I’m not sure why they would ask for feedback, considering they never seem to acknowledge it.

i use the website alot and it quite often asks me for feedback. At least once a day i think. It would be good if it didn’t ask so regularly.

Screenshots would be great. This will allow us to show the QA team and Developers. Thanks :slight_smile:

I would not mind giving feedback, even daily, the problem is that when trying to give it via their UI it stops, so that’s broken – here’s some feedback!

I tried saying that I liked the app: when offered the “Enjoying the Memrise app?” question, I tapped the thumbs up “Yes!” answer, instead of the thumbs down “Not really”. That was a few days ago, and I haven’t seen that question since - it used to be 2 or 3 times a day.

So unless you’ve fixed something, it’s currently set to repeatedly ask the question until it gets a Yes!

However, every day I now get the “How likely are you to recommend Memrise to a friend to learn …?” question. One day it was “conversation skills”, another “how to understand spoken language”. I guess this is intentional, rather than a bug, given they’re different questions. Still really annoying to have my learning interrupted every day though.

I would post the screenshots I took on my phone, but when I tap the Log In button on the forum, in Safari, the Memrise app opens, so I can never log in to the forum on the phone! (I’m typing this on my iPad.)
