I received a message that the restrictions have been lifted, but I still cannot comment on at least one conversation.
Although you can create a topic? Which topic or conversation can you not participate in? Post a link to it as a reply.
It’s a private message with me. I can still reply, but Zzzzz can’t.
Edit: Apparently she also can’t reply to this conversation.
Ah, the beauty (or not) of cloud-based technology - waiting for everything to flow through and fall into place. I think time (a short wait) will cure this “bug”.
Out of interest, post back in here when you find that you are able to respond to the PM. It would interesting to have an idea of how long it takes in some instances.
Rather strange, that one can create a topic but still be unable to respond or reply to it …
My day reset. Testing whether I can comment. Fingers crossed.
Let’s see if this happens again tomorrow. I hope not.
So, how is the posting working for you now? All good?
So far, so good . But I have not reached today’s possible posting limit yet. I hope it was just a temporary glitch.
Posting limits? I just had a quick search through https://meta.discourse.org/and couldn’t locate any references to posting limits. Where did you read about this limit?
Yesterday, when I tried make a comment, a text showed up telling me that I have reached my daily commenting limit. Then it gave me the approximate of how much time was left until my day would reset and told me to make comments after that.
Was that the exact wording of the pop-up? I searched - https://meta.discourse.org/search?q=daily%20commenting%20limit - again and am drawing blanks.
I am sorry but I do not remember the exact wording.
No worries. I am intrigued because it would be a good reference for new users to read so that they understand the limitations of the early days. Anyway, happy memriseing.
Thank you so much for your help.
You’re welcome.
