Archive of over 70,000 mems [former "A way to save all your mems"]

Oh, thanks, and thanks for the clarification!

Now I should see how Memrise2Anki handles Mems too…

Hi can you download the “HP Ultimate - 8500 ORD” by the user " Revlic"?
I also wonder if it is possible to download multiple mems for the same word?
Thanks / Adrian

Hi @Eltaurus,
Would you be able to download the mems from the user ‘JathonThompson’? His mems from the Kodansha Kanji Learner’s Course were very valuable to me.
Thanks / Bruce

I cannot download mems for a specific course, since Memrise does not provide such information. I can only download mems, which Revlic made himself, but I cannot check which of them (if any) were created for that specific course.
If you know the names of the users who created the mems you need, you can request those.
Alternatively you can download the mems you personally selected when studying that course using this method: How to use Memrise2Anki

My script does download multiple mems if several were created for the same word. But again, it only works on ‘per user’, not ‘per course’ basis.
The memrise2anki mod downloads mems for a specific course, but not more than 1 per word.

Hi, I’ve added JathonThompson’s mems to the common folder.

Thank you very much!

Dear Eltaurus, thank you very much for having done this. You have saved me days of manual work of downloading all these images one-by-one.

Respected Eltaurus,
I was going into to edit my MEMS, after a study session with friends last night where-in I explained to them how I use MEMS to remember vocab.
Imagine my horror when I found out that they will be discontinued…worse discarded!
My MEMS have been a labour of love for years.
Kindly let me know how I can save and share them.

Hi there,
My username is tmartin84, I have five self-made courses of Dutch vocabulary that used to have mems attached, the mems are mostly words, not pictures. If you could download them I would be most grateful.

Hello  Would you mind helping me with my mems? Memrise - Manuhao

Thank you!

Uhm, It seems we have a problem here.
The mems page of your profile appears to be completely empty for me:

I also checked several other users, whose mems I’ve downloaded previously, and couldn’t see anything there as well. I can’t see even my own mems at the moment.

It’s either some temporary problem or Memrise finally clearing up their database (did they put any announcements lately? I didn’t follow the news since I’ve stopped using the site).

The problem might also be on my end, but I’ve tried different browsers, different devices, and different VPN servers, and only saw the same thing.

Although some information still appears to be in the source HTML code (I’ve managed to download the text from your mems as well as 4 images), but the words the mems are supposed to be attached to are completely wiped out.
I can upload this fragmented data if you still want to use it for some reason. Or we could wait and see if the mems pages will get back online.

Hopefully, it’s an April Fool’s trick (in poor taste) and our mems will reappear later in the day. The last I remember seeing on the subject from Memrise said that we would continue to have access to our mems for 6 months and they would tell us if that was going to change.

Sorry this wasn’t intentional, we deleted 60k lines of code for old stuff and there may have been a bit of collateral damage. We’re looking to revert the relevant bit.
