Not sure if this is the right spot, I saw no other forum about feedback or the mobile apps.
In language courses you may have to select a bunch of words to create a sentence or two. It is quite easy to accidentally hit the wrong word or just get one word wrong. If that word is near the beginning you have to clear every word that came after it.
For example if there were 10 words in the answer and you selected the wrong one for word 2, you’d have to clear words 2-10, put the correct word in and reselect everything. Is there any way to get the ability to drag words around? Where I could drag a word to the second position without having to clear out everything that follows?
You can only drag within the answer though, and you have to press and hold for the word to become dragable. So to add a word to the beginning of the answer you would tap it so that it appears at the end, then tap-hold-drag to move it to the beginning. You can’t drag a new word directly from the palette to where you want it in the answer. It’s a two step process. [It took me a while to notice - so you may want to check if you can do this]
I realise this is different software, but I assume this change is either in a recent update for the Android app, or is on its way.
So I gave that a go in the Android app and it didn’t matter how long I long-pressed it, nothing changed and I couldn’t move it around. This would be great though. I’ll keep my fingers crossed
