[App Feature suggestion] Show Language on course

Looking at the app, and the loads of scrolling it requires through the list of courses as it keeps re-setting to the top:

  • would it be possible to show the language a course is in on the thumbnail, eg by a flag overlay in the corner? This would make it much easier to spot the courses relating to one language whilst revising

  • or, you could really push the boat out and implement filtering by language, so the entire list would be of the language the user is working on?

  • also, related: it would be useful to see in the list if a course has been downloaded for local usage, instead of having to open all of them one by one to see which ones are available

Well, the (IMHO) presumably smart solution to this would be to simply not scroll to the top when a user opens the course list on Android (and possibly iOS).

Even if someone would want to go back to the previously selected course, it’d be a matter of quickly swiping down to scroll up, because this would simply scroll to the beginning of the list where the scrolling process would end automatically.
I do presume, however, that 90% of all actions within the course pertain to scrolling down in order to find the next course to work on.

Shall I mention that it actually used to be like that a couple of years back? My humble self and other folks have asked many times to have the change reverted, but to no avail.

While I wouldn’t object, the IMHO more important info to display would be the count of difficult words.

up until very recently it was possible to use older versions of the app which behaved like that, yes. Then something got ‘improved’…

Of the many points where the latest app versions are inferior, for my usage, to how older versions worked I would say this is the most annoying one
