All words lost in the Mobile app

I am on Dutch 7 (just finished it actually) and now all of a sudden all my progress has been lost in the app. It’s there on the desktop website. And it recognizes that I have learned all the 2774 words on the app, but all the courses 1-7 are showing up now as “learn new words.”

Has anyone else had this happen to them? I logged onto the desktop website yesterday for the first time in like 6 months, and since then this has happened. So it must be something related to that. But any ideas what I can do!?

about 2 weeks ago all of my courses on iPad and iPhone showed I had not learned any words and there were no words to review. Before my history with these courses (about 84 of them) had somehow been reset to zero, the app showed I had about 50K words to review. This agreed with the number of words learned and for review on the website. I submitted 2 bug requests to Memrise but still have not heard back. I have completed many of these courses, some a long time ago and had many word to review. If I work on a course on the website which I have not completed, the mobile app will update to show I now have learned 5 words (or however many I just learned on the website). The mobile app doesn’t update to show all of the words learned and up for review on that course. Hope someone has an idea how to fix this. I do not want to relearn more than 50 courses on the mobile app.

The sync of courses – especially modified ones – is very buggy in the iOS app just now.

This is still an issue for me. My learning history is not syncing across from the website. For example, on the website my Spanish(Spain)4 correctly shows 154/154 but the app version shows 1/154. It’s a similar story for my other courses.

I’m running v2.3.8.4914 on iPad. Have cleared cache, checked for updates, etc.

Hi Alan,
Deleting the app and reinstalling it worked for me. It’s a shame that Memrise still hastn’t fixed this…

Thanks, Wolfgang! That worked.

@BeaTrisy - This is a bit of a clunky way to achieve syncing. Any word on when a fix is going to be made, please?
