Adding bulk of words, Kanji-kana mixed up

I added a bulk of words from Excel to my Japanese course on the website of Memrise. Now I want to study English to Kanji, but when I practice this sub-course it only shows English to hiragana. Is this a bug?

go to editing levels, where you see all columns and change the testing direction. Memrise is set - strangely! - to ask for Furigana when prompted with English…
