The official info says “Set a Daily Goal today and hit your goal every day to win bonuses!” …and that’s it. Even in the help/FAQ section! It explains how to set them up etc, but it does not tell what the bonuses are. I presume it’s some amount of points (I hope the badge is not considered a “bonus”), but I never paid close enough attention to figure it out. So - is there a point bonus and, if yes, how does it progress with the increased goals?
If you hit your goal for a few consecutive days then you are offered a discount on the membership price - I’m assuming it’s referring to that.
Oh, God, that is… so useless it wouldn’t have crossed my mind. Ever. That’s not a bonus, that’s a commercial. I sure hope that’s not all there is… though I wouldn’t be surprised.
Funnily enough, if that’s the case, I’m not surprised, but I still am disappointed…
@albo2albo, in case it’s not obvious, none of this criticism is aimed at you.
Hi @Ora9 and @albo2albo,
It may or may not be what they were referring to by “win bonuses” but they did once run a competition based around the goal setter that had prizes: https://blog.memrise.com/2015/01/30/the-memrise-february-goal-setter-challenge/. Perhaps they had intended to run these on a regular basis.
Someone from the Memrise team should really spend a bit of time going through the Knowledge Base/FAQ section and tidy it up. How about it, @Lien?
My colleague @MemriseMatty is in the process of tidying the FAQ.
We hope to have it up to date asap.
No problem… I was actually hoping for a point bonus for us diligent learners, but oh well…
