or what is happening (taking into account modifications to my audio files in my own courses, which modifications came out of the blue, or the strange way memrise behaves on my laptops etc)
however, every time I get to review/fail etc that item for which the “mem” was made, memrise is telling me that there are no mems for this item… no mems at all
For me there isn’t any “Show mems” button showing on that screen at all. Are you still seeing it, but it doesn’t work, or is it missing completely for you too?
Also, at least as of last night, I was still able to choose other people’s mems, but my choices were forgotten after I finished the review session.
You will only get that button if you give a wrong answer during a review. As of today, if I give a wrong answer during review, the “Session complete” screen displays the “Show mems” button but nothing happens when I click on it. Before today, it would display my selected mem for the word I answered incorrectly during review. This is an old bug which was fixed previously.
Thanks, that partially explains why I’m not seeing it. I think what’s happening for me is that the system doesn’t remember the mems I chose last night, so although I got some wrong answers today, it doesn’t think I have any mems selected so it doesn’t show that button on the “session complete” screen.
to each his bug? under other circumstances this would be funny.
@xvg11, could it be that you have to allow “always show mems” stay that way? some people in the forum claim that would be the reason (Which is not true, but … at least until some half of a year, i always saw my chosen mems if “wrong/red”, and did not have that option set on “always”)
Thanks again! Your suggestion worked for me; now at least it remembers what mems I’ve chosen in previous sessions! But although the “show all mems” button appears now at the “session complete” screen, it is broken, as @alanh mentioned.
At least for me it has been like that for weeks now. I only see mems immediately after an error. There is only the button at the Session complete screen. And I already had “always show mems” selected.
Yes. I have always had the “Always show mems” feature turned on, too (on all my courses). The “Show mems” button was working for me until a day or so ago, though.
Could it be an OS or browser related issue, I wonder? @BeaTrisy - can you help with this, please?
Seeing mixed results today. Reviews of most courses, where I made a mistake, resulted in the “Show mems” button displaying on the “Session complete” page but no mems. Then, have just reviewed 23 items in Spanish (Spain)5 and gave 3 red wrong answers and the “Show mems” button didn’t display at all.
