incredibly slow loading of any Memrise webpage (beta not activated)
repeated 502 Bad Gateway and 504 Gateway Time-out
seen 502 in the last couple of weeks but this evening the website is unusable.
edit: also some words in a review session do not get registered as reviewed, so I have to immediately redo some words after a session. Also since a few weeks.

Sorry to hear about the problems you’re having, but this is likely related to the issues Amazon Web Services are having and should resolve itself when it’s back online
The severe worsening of the problem might have been but I have had those Bad Gateway errors on and off for about two weeks now.
I was aware of some AWS problems but it was not prominently in the news here because it was mainly the region USA east.
