248 words limit on the Memrise app (there isn't actually a limit, the course didn't have more items) and another question about learning Japanese

Hi to you all!

I just sent a message to Memrise and received an automatic reply saying it may take a while before they can send a proper reply to my queries so here is the message for you to answer if you can…

“I tried your app and reached the 248 words limit. It looks like I don’t have access to new lessons. Does it mean I have to subscribe to a Pro account if I wish to go further? And if so, will I have access to the new lessons on the app or only through your website? Last question, is there a limited number of lessons for Japanese or is it, as I suppose, an ever growing community effort.”

And I would like to ask members who are learning Japanese, how far is it possible to reach an advanced level by learning from Memrise alone?

Thanks for your answers!
Cyril

By reaching 248 items you have finished the course ‘Japanese 1’.

Here is ‘Japanese 2’: http://www.memrise.com/course/1135342

Here is ‘Japanese 3’: http://www.memrise.com/course/1135343

You need to add them either throught the website or the app and you will be able to learn them just like ‘Japanese 1’.

Those courses above were officially created by Memrise. However there are many community created courses, that you can find by using search functions on the Website or the app.
