Memrise Bug Control Release Notes

Please see the following bug fixes and product updates for the latest release of the Android and iOS apps.

Android (2.94_25025_memrise)

Bug fixes:

  • Downloaded courses couldn’t be learnt offline
  • Dark mode colour issues as raised here

Product updates:

  • ‘System’ option added as option in Dark Mode settings. Users who have dark mode enabled on their device now may see that their Memrise app has automatically changed because of this. To change this back, select Light from the drop-down list in Settings.

iOS (3.2.24)

Bug fixes:

  • iOS progress not syncing to web
  • Issues with image display on some iOS devices (detailed here)

Please note: new app versions are rolled out to our whole userbase gradually, so it might take a few days for this update to be in your hands. Please ensure you activate automatic updates on Google Play Store/App Store to always be on the latest version. You can check your app version in your settings.

Is anyone else having this problem?

If I go to Profile on the Android App then press the cog it only briefly flashes the settings then defaults to a course.

PS
The store still says latest update 4th February.

Hi @DW7 - we’re aware of this issue and our developers are working on a fix. Thanks for your patience! We’ll let everyone know once it’s fixed.

If you need to change something in your profile settings, in the meanwhile you can still do so on the website - https://www.memrise.com/settings/

Glad you have noticed it. I assumed it had only occurred with this latest version just released.

All I wanted to do is see which App version I had (which I can’t do on the web - he he).
