in my course http://www.memrise.com/course/813123/2-a-cidade-de-lisboa/. Also audio review not really functioning. The couse has not been updated recently
Hi, when making a bug report can you please provide us as much information as possible and give us a clear explanation of the exact problem. “Audio review not really functioning”, what exactly is not functioning?
Examples of words which their alts are not being accepted, including the levels where the words are located should be included.
It’ll be great if you can do this for all future bug report. Thanks.
if I say that the audio review is not functioning, I mean exactly that: I click “audio review” and I get only 11, 8, 5, 4, 3 to review (in this order, i.e. decreasing), although the course has more than 90% audio, and also even though when i go to normal review items with audio come one after the other…
this thing with reporting the exact items which make problems … without a direct link to the forum, this forum, how should this work? should one always have a paper and pencil around, to take notes?
many thanks for your attention
Thanks for explaining what you meant by the audio review not functioning. Stating “audio review not really functioning” without any explanation, sounds as though you are unable to launch audio review session or the audio is not working.
Unfortunately, I am unable to investigate this problem until you’ve given some examples of words. _alt answers not accepted doesn’t help us investigate this issue. We need to know where it happens, is it review mode? learning session? tapping test? typing test? etc…
You’ve given us a course which has 59 levels and around 700 words. We need to know which words have _alts in your course, and where they are located.
I can tell you what I think is going on. In some courses, such as Basic Czech and Introductory French vocab, more than one word has the same English translation. In the past, when given the english word, you could type either of the Czech or French words with that translation, and it would be accepted. I think something changed in the system so this no longer works. For the French course, someone else and I have manually added alternatives to solve this problem.
