Why has Pro doubled in price monthly?

Title - Last time I had a subscription it was only around $10 AUD a month, now it’s… 22 AUD? I can’t find any announcements explaining why this price change has occurred or even that it has in the first place. I was planning to re-subscribe for a plane trip coming up this week

As for me, now I have no idea what I paid for in May, which at the time I thought would be Memrise as it existed and presented itself back then.

Maybe five years later we’ll get a clarification.
