Hi @Bunchybunch, Norwegian sounds like a nice and interesting language I’m very interested in Scandinavian and Celtic languages.
Hello @murvanidzemmk84, German’s a really nice language and another language I want to learn
I’m sure you are aware, but on the web you can see who is doing courses: this week; this month and all time.
On the App, after completing a session, if you tap the cup you can see the same information.
Also if you look at any person’s web learning profile you’ll see all the courses they have or are doing as well as another link to any they have created or are supporting as a Contributor.
Here are two example below, just substitute DW7 for any person you are interested in.
► Teaching ◄ or supporting.
Have ► tried ◄ at some stage:
Thanks for the tip
Thanks for letting me know!
(Wow, you’re teaching a lot of courses!!!)
More teaching than learning (if you look at my points) - but that’s a good way to learn
Been a while hasn’t it? I’m using Memrise as a tool for my French studies. As well as making some of my own courses for personal revision.
That’s really cool I learn French on Duolingo,
That’s cool that you make your own courses!
I tried learning French before. A lot of my family lives in France, so I thought i’d learn some. It’s very difficult, but very beautiful!
Two Izzi ! That’s funny!
Well, if you peak into my profile you will only find Cornish courses.
I might leave Memrise next year, at least the subscription because I’m starting to learn to read text and take all the vocabulary here to a conversation level.
I enjoy Cornish learning very much and all the courses here in Memrise helped me a lot.
Huh! I had no idea you could learn piano chords on Memrise.
I do a little of everything, especially because the video recordings are fun.
courses I do somewhat seriously: French, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic
courses I do a little bit just out of interest: Russian, Latin, Latin Phrases, German, Spanish, Italian, Amharic Abugida and Colloquial Amharic Vocabulary.
Hello @KarmenKern! I haven’t seen you in a while
That’s great that Memrise has helped you a lot as it’s helped me
Wow, Your doing a lot of courses Good for you!
Oh yeah, Memrise has helped me heaps too. Cornish sound so interesting!!!
Wow, that’s a LOT of languages! I can only fit one new one in my brain at a time lol, you’re smart!
And yes, I had no idea you could do other things besides languages on Memrise till recently!
All good bro, I don’t even know!
And… Learn about lizards, am I right?
Hi Izzy and Izzi! Yeah, it’s been a while! Summer means more work for me. I repair or restore old “things” ( I don’t want to give too many details…) and maybe that is one of the the reasons why I dedicate my free time to Cornish: it feels good to revive an old forgotten language.
And…I have super fantastic news: I found two wonderful people to learn and practice Cornish!
So, how are you doing with your courses here? Have you tried practicing on chats?
Hi Izzi! Nice to meet you!
If you want to hear how it sounds go to Radio An Gernewegva.

There is a strong connection between Cornwall and France since old times. One of the five dialects of Breton is called Cornish (Kerneveg in Breton, Kernewek in Cornish).
Nice to meet you too!
I clicked on the link, and wow, it sounds beautiful!
And thanks for the info, I didn’t even know that! (About Cornwall and France)
