I found this bit of dialogue in the Cooke piece to be pretty compelling:
"What would make you a better leader ?
Better listening skills."
The questions we tend to be debating amongst ourselves seems to be, who is (Memrise) "listening" to, and what (if any) will be their response to what they hear.
