User trying to get back in contact with other Khan Acadamy users

@donpek

You use KA? What’s your account name? Mine was HFM2402, but after I got unjustly banned, it’s now Potato_Chip_Cat.

You might want to check it out if you’re active in the programming community there. ^.^

Um…excuse me?
I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Dude…(or dudette)…I lost access to my account because I had to delete my email according to my parents’ bidding. I would never break rules like that! =(
All my friends have been asking me to make an “alt” account, but I never did.
That is, until I lost access to my old account.
I still need to use the site for learning.
Besides, I got banned again, so no sweat.

Really? Potato_Chip_Cat is a child trying to maintain contact with her old friends, which is totally understandable.

But you’re an adult, using a public forum to cheerfully announce that you believe that someone should be banned for life from a website where they may have made a mistake when they were a child?

And moreover, and more shockingly, you believe that a clickthrough agreement displayed on a USA web site is legally binding on, or could ever be enforced, against a minor, who is an infant in the eyes of the law, totally lacking in capacity to enter into a binding contract, and who also happens to be a citizen of a sovereign foreign nation.

ROFLOL

this thread goes astray…

off-topic

memrise is not a “keep-in-touch” site

while I understand you seem to have something against all teachers of the world, there is really no need to play the sarcastic one with so much dedication, what’s the problem???

(Lurajane is teaching maths, btw, and she was a learning companion on Memrise for years now;)

Firstly, your assertion is false, and an unjustified personal attack. You know nothing about me, and have no business alleging that I have “something against all teachers”.

Secondly, my post was no more or less sarcastic than lurajane’s post to Potato_Chip_Cat, as I deliberately used the very same words and mocking tone that she used to scold and criticize a child, Potato_Chip_Cat,

Thirdly, lurajane is the one who chose to publicly mock and accuse a child of some type of misbehavior, without just cause.

Fourthly, everything I said about contracts being unenforceable against children is absolutely true, and I notice that you do not contradict any of the facts that I stated.

That’s not true. The Memrise forum does have an “off-topic” sub-forum, which is a perfect place for “keep in touch” conversations. This is what their own official says about it.

This part of the thread could have been moved there easily by one of the moderators.
