How can I get rid of the attribute data keep showing in the multiple-choice item (tapping test)?
The “v” and “n” are supposed to be shown in other place, not in the place where the picture below shows.
Is it my database or course settings problem? Or a bug?

You do not want “n” and “v” to show up as possible answers, right? If you are sure that “n” and “v” are not present in your database as translations somewhere, than it may be this bug Deleted/old answers still appearing in tests
In my experience, such phantom answers disappear with time.
@skstudio Oh! You remind me one thing. I’d once uploaded my data to a new LEVEL via BULK ADD WORDS and I uploaded my words with a wrong order. My Mandarin data was wrongly put in the last order of each words, so Mandarin data appeared in the ATTRIBUTE column. However, I deleted that LEVEL and uploaded again in a new LEVEL. I knew that those data in the deleted LEVEL was still in the database, however, I thought that they wouldn’t become a problem.
Now what I’m going to do is to delete those wrong data in the database and login my app again and see if the problem can be solved.

I am not sure what is your question. And it has nothing to do with the issue of deleted entries still appearing in tests.
Attributes should appear exactly where they appear in the screenshot you send. You should go into the database and un-click the “show at tests” in the options of the “part of speech” column.
I think you didn’t look at the screenshot carefully enough. It shows “n” and “v” as possible answers in a multiple choice review, when those were just supposed to be attributes. I’m pretty sure @Hunter_Hsieh is exactly right about the cause of the problem. Deleting the level did not delete those items from the database, and as long as they’re still in the database, memrise will still use them as possible answers.
Exactly - it’s “showing in the multiple choice” - by which they mean, what should be just attributes (“n” and “v”) are appearing as multiple choice answers. That’s what the screenshot image showed.
@Hydroptere @cos Thanks for your reply. I think un-click the “show at tests” probably is not a solution. It says the attribute will be displayed ABOVE tests as a hint.
I’d tried to delete the wrong data in the database, however, the problem is still there. I’m sure I’d deleted all wrong data and signed in the app again. Maybe is the bug that @skstudio mentioned above.
That setting is for attributes and not for the answer variants shown at tests, so it wont work.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Memrise employees would just read this thread and FIX THE PROBLEM!? I’m having a similar problem where pinyin is showing up in the multiple choice as possible answer choices, but pinyin is completely turned off except to show after answers, and the pinyin is NEVER the correct choice. Get on the ball Memrise. Memrise is now pissing me off. I can’t even post this comment because it made me reactivate my account, and it brought me back to the wrong page. So I deleted that comment and am reposting it here, and it says it’s too similar to a previous comment to be posted here.
