The answer shows up in a wrong place in multiple selection

So I’ve made this KOR → ENG course myself and I’m using my Android phone to study it. I have pictures here because I really can’t explain this in words. Why does this keep happening? I’ve checked the course on my computer and nothing is wrong with the layout. But still, when I’m supposed to guess the answer it conveniently shows me the answer next to the words. This happens multiple times and I don’t know how to fix it. I love Memrise but I really want to fix this problem. :frowning:

Did you previously have a definition in your database that had the the English next to the Korean and then you fixed it?

Maybe. I added a lot of these in bulk (using the advanced adding) but I didn’t even save them like that to the database. I fixed them before saving the level etc. Is that the reason? Is there no other way to fix this other than doing everything again? :frowning:

If that’s the problem, then I have a userscript here that should be able to fix the issue. Let me know if you have any trouble running it.

This is due to a long-standing bug in Memrise.

Oh, that’s interesting. But this only fixes the issue on computer? I mostly use memrise on my phone. :confused: But I tried it anyway and even though it is enabled on my tapermonkey dashboard, on memrise the add-on says ‘no script is running’, though so hmmm…

Running the script on the computer should fix the issues with the course on the phone, too. You just can’t generally run userscripts on phone browsers, so you have to run it on the computer :slight_smile:

I think I’ll make my next course by just adding words one by one. This might not happen then?

Basically, this bug can rear its head when a field is edited, so adding words one by one would only help if you didn’t make any edits after adding the words.
