[Site Feedback] Course forum link redirects to community.memrise.com!

Hit a showstopper today - the link that goes to the vital forum where course contributors and learners helped each other out with various questions about the course has suddenly started redirecting to community.memrise.com and the existing conversations have all disappeared. Please restore ASAP!

That is, unfortunately, the intended behaviour. See the discussion here:

That’s not just unfortunate, that takes away probably the best thing about Memrise. If I hadn’t invested so much already in learning words in existing courses here I wouldn’t be sticking around here anymore.

I feel like the forum button on courses should direct us to the forum thread of the course on this site, instead of creating a new forum which just goes to the homepage. A lot of users probably won’t be able to find the specific course forum even if one has been set up. And if one has been set up, who knows how many people will actually view it.

Memrise built a great tool, then basically abandoned it in favor of a flighty pursuit of mobile users who they don’t have to care about or provide useful service for. They basically seem to view users who care most about Memrise with a mixture of contempt and neglect, and for nearly two years now have been gradually ruining the service. But nobody else has put out something that can replace it yet, so we make the best of what we’ve got here.

Besides, they’ve never given us the tools to export our courses from here, and I’ve put literally thousands of hours into the courses I’ve created. No way to move them to another service even if something existed like memrise (something I investigated last year, but failed to find).

Yes a lot of us have been asking for this, or at least to the right subject 'folder’ or group area:
