Save button not working

Sorry to hear that - it sounded positive after you logged in as the creator.
I take it you have added columns successfully in the past?

Sorry I can’t help, even if I were a Contributor.

I removed you from the contributors after your reply (and can still add and remove you), so this bug has been solved by the removal of the CREATOR within the CONTRIBUTOR’s list (where he should never have appeared).
But for the modification of the testing styles and other parameters, I still get my frozen “save” button. I created a new level to try it there. Still same problem…

Well, just to let you know that we no longer have the permission to use the Memrise App for our project, unfortunately.
Actually no wonder: after more than a month fiddling with the problem and not only no solution found, but not even a single reply from the Memrise staff, the festival organizers and the theatre companies involved decided to relay on other, more trustworthy tools for their aims.

Normally contributors are unable to modify those settings, however I noticed from your gif that the course creator was added as a contributor which should be impossible. How were you guys able to do that?

Probably due to this bug, the course creator “Gestival1” is now treated as a contributor even though the account has been removed from the contributor list. Which means you’ll be unable to modify the setting.

I’d advise creating a new course since I can’t guaranteed this bug will be fixed anytime soon, but I’ll give a head up to the developers.

I’ve also removed the typing and tapping test from the course “Quiz Chantuers” from all the levels.

This is intended, because in the gif the account which you’re using to edit the course is a contributor and not the course creator.

Thank you, Joshua, for the reply and your help. I don’t know why we were able to add the course creator account as contributor, but you are probably right : to get rid of this bug the best would be to create a new course from scratch. Unfortunately, the theater compagnies denied us the authorization to work with the app, given the problems that occurred during several demos and were not answered on the forum.
I keep trying to give Memrise another chance with other project holders…

I am truly sorry about this.

It’s a shame no one was able to respond to your problem in time.

In the future, we’ll try to improve our bug solving process to avoid similar situation like this from happening.
