My stuff looks roughly correct now for the courses I did the day of the glitch. I don’t religiously track my points, but the numbers I have now look reasonable.
My points are definitely still inflated in almost every course I practiced during that time (i.e., at least 34 different courses). There are definitely many other people on those leaderboards who also have improbably high scores. Are you still working on the issue?
Please note that while the number of points went back to normal, the number of learning events for May 03-04 was not adjusted.
I suddenly lost abt 400k points in Dutch Spanish 6 leader bord. I was leader by far this week and month. What a mess… Hope it can be fixed soon.

Sorry to hear some of your points haven’t been updated as they should.
If you believe we removed more or fewer points than we should have, please let us know how many points you think you should receive back (or be removed) and we’ll do that asap!
To keep this thread tidy, kindly get in touch via this page with:
- the email address you’ve used to sign up to Memrise
- the number of points you want back/deleted
Please note that due to limitations with our system, sadly these points will only be added to your overall points count that appears on your profile, rather than specific courses/leaderboards.
Please rest assured that your courses’ weekly leaderboards have reset as expected on Monday at 1AM GMT with no further issues, so you can go back to learning and earning points towards your weekly goals as usual.

Does this mean the learning event feature is completely broken?
In my case it seems so, as any dates before and after 3 May are coloured in the same light green.

the “nice” thing now is that one looses points as one makes them
since yesterday i’ve lost at least 300 000 points, vanished into thin air… great! i love this new “…rise”, what ever
Do all these mysterious events happen only when learning with the web version of Memrise? I’ve never earned millions or hundreds of thousands of points in one session (that is probably why I never lost any points either). Good thing I only use the app version these days.
@Hydroptere we haven’t noticed any recent system errors that have caused point loss. Did these 300 000 points get taken from your overall score?

I lost points after this problem, but it wasn’t much, only a few thousand. I wonder how the MEMRISE glitch occurred in the first place.

sorry, i did not visit the fora for a long time. Now i am not losing points, i think, but items i’ve reviewed appear immediately again as not reviewed, even if no mistake has been made, etc. Maybe i just have too many learned items. What ever…
