hii sorry im technologically inept and need help 
everytime i try to download a course with the extension the csv file is blank. even if i open in in notepad its blank and anki doesnt recognize it. possibly important info? is that my system locale is set to japanese (i cant change it i need it for another app to work) but other than that i followed all instructions so im really confused
Which courses have you been trying to download?

Hello, it’s not an error on their part. I’ve tried some various courses to test this out, and every CSV file turns out blank while the media files (besides the profile picture) are not being downloaded. I assume this is a change the Memrise team made recently.

I think Memrise has updated something causing this to no longer work. I too have tried it as of today: 8-27-2023 and it’s showing an empty CSV file and absolutely no media files are downloading. I made sure to follow each and every instruction to a T. Will there be an update to this? Thank you for all of your hard work.

Thanks everyone for the patience.
I just uploaded an update for the extension which seems to make it work again. For now at least.
There might be some untested cases, however, in which something doesn’t work in the way it is used to, so please feel free to tell me if you find any issues with the current version.

To make it easier to get used to Anki I also wrote a card template to go along with the downloaded courses:
This should make all reviews feel very familiar and help to overcome the entry barrier.
