Memrise Release Notes - 03 Mar 2017

In the last few weeks, the crew here at Memrise’s HQ has been working hard on some fixes that were bothering many Memrisers around Meet the Natives, Course Creation and some other areas:

  • You’ll no longer have problems reproducing Meet the Natives. There was a video encoding issue that is now solved. We are working on improving the video player as a whole but this will take a little bit more time to get it all polished so that we can release it without issues.

  • There’s been some work around Password reset feature to make it more reliable.

  • Agents will be happy to know that the issue regarding the Audio Recording feature is now gone.

  • Fixed: A few pesky bugs around courses with two Missions in a row.

Thanks for these updates!

No. I’m sooner a flying macaroni monster than an agent.

It sounds awesome. I read in the pro description that a mem pro can chat with membot. But, I am sure it works because I can’t find the feature. Is the feature available already?

Hi @memrisestudent I think membots are the chatting chapters between levels in official courses (at least in the app version)

Hi @Atikker
Thank you for your reply.
Is it available for all course languages or only in a few language course only, in the official of course?

Thanks @Atikker

I think ‘MemBots’ are the chatting chapters between levels in official courses

I did wonder what they were. I was not aware of anything like that, but I assumed it was some sort of automatic conversation.

Does that happen on official MemRise courses? And does anyone know if that happen on the web version?

From the official courses I have been studying membots are present in
Spanish (3), Russian(3), Swedish (1), French (3), German(2), Japanese(3),
English (1).
Turkish courses have no chat levels yet

I don’t think they are available for web users

Thanks for the release notes.
On About the Memrise Announcements category it says that topics will be deleted after 1 week or so. I hope they don’t - I’d to be able to consult past read-me-s.

@John_Baite… will be closed… not deleted

Just to add to that, they are also available on Italian and Danish.
