Hello everyone. I’m looking for a course that focuses squarely on declensions; a course that that drills you thoroughly on the Nominative, Accusative, Dative, and Genitive forms of primary German words. Is there a course(s) on MemRise that can help me memorize the content found in this table?:
Unfortunately not that I know of … they are usually combined with prepositions. If I find one, I’ll let you know. (normally, I just guess the -n / -en form and it covers most of the combinations.
But as you can see, we did not come up with much material. It is a main concern for learners of such languages with many grammar cases (Latin must a real bugger)
But the Memrise course 16768 could go a certain way for you, try it and see. No audio though. I believe it’s a musical thing, that requires practice.
Thanks makalu. That’s helpful, however I find that I need the full sentence so I can do the parts-of-speech calculations using the context provided by entire sentence (subject, object, indirect object, etc.), like in course 16768, the one that sircemloud suggested.
