How to create a course with tibetan on-screen keyboard?

I’d like to create a course with tibetan characters. I’ve seen that other users have been able to add a floating keyboard with every letters. I wonder how they did it. Could you help me?

Thanks!

Hi @fab_22,

I have checked and it looks like Tibetan isn’t one of the languages you can automatically upload as an ‘in-browser’ keyboard.

Is the example at Post 48 (Sep 25) by @Atikker in this other topic: [App & Site Feedback] Differences between the WEB version and an APP version the kind of thing you have in mind?

This link tells you how to insert the ‘in-browser’ keyboard into your course: http://feedback.memrise.com/knowledgebase/articles/525119-activate-an-in-browser-keyboard but, because Tibetan doesn’t feature in the drop-down menu, you would have to add each character individually to get something that looks similar to Atikker’s example.

If anyone else knows a better/quicker way, I’m sure they’ll step forward.

Good luck!

Thank you for your quick answer. I have followed your advices and entered each character as explained on your second link. It seems to be ok!

Good stuff!

It is quite awesome. (Dropping other shoe…) I would emphasize, as you have done, sort of, that one can and should use (or eventually learn to use) the Tibetan keyboard script, such as can be found at Yalasoo.com, or any other Tibetan script keyboard. That works best for the long run, I think.
