How to access to a new Level in Android App? (got a lock in the picture)

Hi folks,

I just started with memrise last week (learning italian, official memrise course 1) and now I have the problem that it looks like I can not continue. I used google, I read through this forum but I can not find any answer what to do, so I hole someone here can help me.

As mentioned above I started learning italian with the android app (but all other official courses look the same for me).
I made my way trough the vocabulary of level 1, did the bot chat in level 2 and now it is not going any further. At the website I can access all other levels like I want but in the app they are locked (there is a lock in front of the planet and I can not access the level). Funy note here: the app does show my progress in level 3 I made through the website but it still will not let me access this level within the app.

So what is the magic key I have to use to unlock new levels within the app? What am I doing wrong?
I just tried to log off and on in the app but that changed nothing.

I think you have to pay now to use the android app. i stumbled on the same problem and use the web only now. For what i know,it is still free on ios. There already have been some post on the subject but no answer from the team… neither to explain or tpo tell that you have to get pro to access the app from level 2…

thanks for the link. it shows thar they do not check the forum as this issue has been raised several time alreadysince mid april but that you can reach them through twitter!

You will have to pay for the android app. I know that’s skeptical but I will recommend doing it as Memrise is really a good application to learn new language. Really helping me with learning Spanish :wink:
