After clicking the “Stats” button for any group I manage, a new page opens with the title of the group, but no student names and no stats are displayed.
This was working last I checked on Dec. 6, 2017, but not today (JST Dec. 11, 2017).
This occurs in Chrome and Internet Explorer on different computers and different networks. All other Memrise pages display correctly.
For some reason, the Group Stats are not displaying. When I click on the “Stats” button for any of my groups, a new page opens with the title of the group but with no list of students and their accompanying stats.
This was last working December 8, 2017, when I was using a Google Chrome browser on my Dell Notebook computer and a Firefox browser my MacBook Air. As of today, December 11, 2017 (JST), the Group Stats are not displaying.
It is important that this “bug” is fixed soon because I need to know the students’ LTM vocabulary rating to determine their grade for the course.
How could any responsible teacher in good conscience use statistics from Memrise to determine their students’ grades? The web site and app are both perpetually buggy and the statistics broken and unreliable more often than not.
What kind of school would allow the formal use of such unreliable “teaching materials” in their classroom? Do the parents of the affected students know that you are doing this?
The use of Memrise in class is a discussion worth having, but it is probably better to have it on a separate thread in the Teachers Corner forum. This thread is for discussing a stats bug.
