The latest iOS update claims there is a new feature in Spanish (Spain) 1 and other languages called First Contact. I don’t see it in the updated app or on the website for any of the languages.
It’s on the IOS Japanese 1 course - with some issues though…
I have been in contact with support and gotten only the generic text which tells me how it should work. Unfortunately, the feature is still not unlocked no matter what I do. I just went through Spanish I again (up to Level 4) and cannot access this feature. I have uninstalled the app but that didn’t make a difference.
Hi, Can you confirm which version of Memrise you are running? (can you confirm it is the latest version from the iOS app store?)
I updated directly from the iOS App Store, so I should be running the latest version.

I’ve had a looked at your account, you are currently enrolled to Spanish 1 for English (US) speakers.
Here is the correct course which does have First Contact. Spanish 1 for English (UK) speakers.
We don’t yet have First contact available for English (US) courses.
