I was wondering if this is suitable for the current GCSE and if it includes higher tier vocabulary? Sorry, I didn’t know how to message the admin directly.
Hello @Oliver_Lee71
The only way for you to message the admin is through the forums. If they are not on the forums, then you will not be able to contact them.
You are not be able to send private messages yet because you have only just joined.
Once you have this restriction removed, you should see something like this:
whenever you click on someone’s name.
@KChiponda are you here?
How do I get the restriction removed? Also, I think the admin has changed - it’s not KChiponda anymore.
The restriction will be removed when you reach the next trust level.
Do you know who the new admin is?
Hi @Oliver_Lee71 and @rlkirby
I found this post that shows that languagebox is a contributor to the KChiponda course:
The link below explains how forum levels work:
EDIT: You can try talking to him directly on the forum. Write a message on that topic and get your attention by adding the @ symbol before its name (as I did with its name).
Hi Everyone
Thank you for drawing this to my attention. Feel free to message me privately about any concerns or just post them here.
In answer to your question above, the course was designed for the previous GCSE spec, but of course the French language hasn’t changed in the last 5 years so it is certainly still relevant!
As to whether it has higher vocabulary, it certainly does. Can I also recommend to you my French Vocabulary Boosters course, which is a mixture of higher level GCSE French and even AS level French, just in case you’ve got an appetite for the more difficult stuff. All in all both courses contain more than enough advanced vocab to keep you busy.
If you have any other questions please just let me know.
Happy learning!
LB
Ok thanks, I’ll check that out.
Sorry to bother you again, but I was wondering if you had any other sites/methods/recommendations etc. for improving french, especially listening and speaking.
For listening and reading, the best thing you can do is to do a lot of exercises as often as possible. If you’re bored with these then what you can do is to listen to some French radio stations or watch some French youtube videos, just to vary it a bit and be exposed to a wide range of language.
The best way to practise speaking is to speak, as often as you can. This could be by arranging lessons with an online tutor or just using everyone possible moment with your teacher to discuss in French.
Hope that helps!
