Downloaded course not downloaded one of levels

Today downloaded a memrise course to Android device.
To my surprise, the last level was missing after download!

. . . .
Notes:

  • The 11th level (link) was added recently - 2 days ago or so.
  • Today I downloaded the course to my android device. Both screenshots are from today. 1st image is during download. 2nd when fully downloaded.
  • Note that the level is also not visible in the Android screen (only level 10 is visible)
  • Also after several hours waiting and studying using the Memrise Android app, the level did not appear (it is still not there at the time of writing)

Sorry: wanted to post this in ‘Android Bugs’. Could one of the admins move this to the Bug Control-Android forum? Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

have you tried logging out and 8n again for the app to update this course? And then download it again when you see the 11th level

Click the pro tab and then click the Home tab to refresh the application.

If the level is still not shown, please follow Atikker adivce and log out then back into the application.

Here’s a screenshot of level 11 shown on my device.

Does this also work if you’ve added a column or changed the way a column is tested?

[/quote]@Joshua: Thanks for this suggestion. Tried it right away. Unfortunately, ‘Click on Pro, then Home tab’ doesn’t solve the problem. Note that this is a downloaded course.

@Atikker, thanks for the suggestion. @Joshua: As a fix, Atikker’s suggestion is unfortunately, not acceptable, as the logging out, will also delete all other downloaded courses, and since I am often on Mobile internet, I don’t like to consume my data for re-downloading the courses. As a troubleshooting step I am willing to try the suggestion, if needed, though.

PS: before I tried Atikker’s advice, I tried first ‘Disable offline mode for this course’, then Re-downloaded the course. Level 11 is now visible! So this work-around works. Still, I hope that we can fix this.

@Joshua - could you provide a fix please, so we don’t need this workaround? Thank you!

The best solution is to quit the course and then rejoin it. (Your progress is not lost)

OK, redownloading the course actually worked I wasn’t able to try ‘quit and rejoin’ and this course, so I tested it on another course.
When I quite a course and rejoin the course, I need to re-download it. So that does not solve the problem that it costs extra time and bandwidth.

When I quite and rejoined the course, I noticed something unusual. On Android the course was ‘empty’, although on the web it worked fine. Could it be that there is a delay in the synchronization or replication error? See picture:

Clicking ‘Pro’ then Home again, did not work. Even not after, say, 5 minutes. Killing and restarting the app also did not work.

However, may I ask, how the software is designed to work in this kind of situation? What can the user expect from it? Then I know what the expect, I don’t need to complain about an ‘issue’ that is actually by design and am able to report a bug when it is actually a bug.

I have the same problem again and again, i.e. even after even not after re-downloading several times changes and new levels do not show in the app. I cannot learn my new level!

Usually I try fiddling around, for example learning a few words or doing another course, but today nothing helps. It happens to many courses, but today this is the one.

The download-courses feature is a feature I am paying for. Please could @MemriseSupport possibly fix it?

PS: please if you could let me know that you have received this that would be great. Thanks!
