Ah, okay.
Well, as @lurajane mentioned, it looks like for that course, it at least sometimes tells you what part of speech the word is, which should help you be able to distinguish

Thank you neoncube. What you described is how it used to work.
I read your reply later on yesterday, and by then a miracle had happened. The system was back to how it was. I was back to being happy.
