My daily streaks is being reset randomly even if I kept my device connected to internet.
It happened in november’17 after a 275 streak! And today again. The learning progression is still here, but that small counter that you’re looking at every day is being reset. It’s not such a big issue (to me at least) but somehow frustrating. I can imagine that it is most frustrating for young people…
The only thing I did lastly was to uninstall the app from my smartphone to free up space there, keeping it installed on my tablet, from where I usually use it…
Again, my status has been rested after a 90 day streak, although I am learning every day.
Being actually on travel, I have been switching between my tablet and my smartphone both connected to internet and logged in with the same account of course. Perhaps another interesting thing is that, my tablet is still set on my home time and my smartphone is set to the local time. 3:30 time differences. Memrise asked to switch the time zone, what I did on my phone but not on my tablet. Don’t know if this might be an issue here…
Anyway, it looks like this randomly reset is still an issue…
You are not alone my friend. Look for a bug report called " Streak error on Android"
A lot of us have lost and keep losing out streaks. Mine was about a year long. They promised to release a fix soon.
