@BeaTrisy, there’s something strange going on with the course leaderboards today.
My scores in the ‘official’ Memrise courses haven’t zeroed overnight as they should have done, and the other users’ scores are showing abnormally high numbers for this early in the week.
However, my scores in the ‘user-created’ courses HAVE zeroed as usual although, as with the ‘official’ courses, the other users’ scrores are showing abnormally high for this time.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Did the change to BST yesterday cause this, maybe?
Yes, a good suggestion. I have added today’s date to the subject line.
On looking more closely, the difference between ‘official’ and ‘user-created’ courses is not as simple as I mentioned in my OP. Some examples are listed below. I have not yet completed any 'learning events today, so my points should be “zero” in all courses for the current week.
In https://www.memrise.com/course/1098045/spanish-spain-3/ the leaderboard does not appear to have been reset. My points for last week are still showing and those at the top of the course leaderboard are high for this time of the new week. It’s a similar picture in my four other ‘official’ Spanish courses.
In my ‘user-created’ Spanish courses for example, https://www.memrise.com/course/153305/learn-spanish-conjugation-no-typing/, it appears to have reset but possibly with a time lag. My score has been zeroed but the other scores on the leaderboard are much higher than usual for this time of the new week.
In other subjects, for example, https://www.memrise.com/course/20690/a-world-geography-with-audio/, my score has been zeroed but the leaderboard doesn’t appear to have been completely reset. Usually, at this time, there are around 10 names on it but, currently, there are 72 showing.
Late yesterday evening, there were 80 names.
Me too - I thought it was a one- off at the end of February, beginning of March but now it has happened again. With the end of the month on the horizon, I am wondering what will happen. Good that others are writing here, maybe Memrise will give it some attention, SOON.
