I’m not sure if this thread is still monitored, but these latest changes to the course have been really off-putting. A lot of duplicates to pre-existing terms have been added, and a lot of the new terms use looser translations or don’t follow the same patterns as the old terms. For example, “mamá” is translated as “mother”, but a more correct translation is probably “mom”. Another example is “sibling”, which is translated as “hermano/a”. This is probably the most correct direct translation, but previously English terms were almost always translated using the masculine form and with a definite article, e.g. “el hermano”. Consistency is key here, otherwise reviews are going to be nearly impossible trying to figure out if the term is in the old style or the new style. I just thought I’d give some feedback to help keep this course as good as ever. Thanks for your attention!
In unit 3 - Travel, “telefono” should be corrected to “teléfono”.
Based on the multiple choice, it appears that this word is probably a duplicate anyway.
